erm.. a driving team?? (SHS)

A little SHS story, we've got two newcomers! I'm leaving on my trip tomorrow, and was not attacked with as much homework as planned so, i'll probably spam with some art tonight.

Keep in mind this story is rediculously unrealistic. Think of those stupid horse people, the idiots who shouldn't be around horses.. that's where the idea of a 'driving team' came from

Story:

Benny walked through the long hallway, steaming and angry. The 6 yearlings who were supposed to arrive two days ago were still not here. He had long been awaiting a call from the owners, however nothing had come up. As he continued down the hall, he started to hear Andrew, speaking to someone.. perhaps this was the call he had been waiting for? Quickly, he turned the corner and burst into the office, to see Andrew leaning back on the chair and discussing something on the phone.

"No, no... I don't want the pony, I just want the mare. Keep him. No really, I don't need him. We have plenty of horses here, I can assure you the mare will have many new companions here, she doesn't need him! ...Fine. Tomorrow then? Alright, i'll be there. Thanks".

Andrew slammed the phone down and grouchily looked up at a very surprised Benny.

"Oh! Hey Ben! I just got us two new horses!"
"Great... tell me they're worth it.."
"They are, look at her!"

Andrew turned to the open laptop and popped open a site in which two horses stood grazing in a meadow.

"They don't look like much to me... What's so special?" Benny was clearly not amused.

Suddenly, Alex walked into the room, excited to see the two unfamiliar horses on the screen.

"Oh man! Are we getting them? Look at the pony! So cute, I bet he's quite an athlete! Can't wait to see him!"


Andrew sighed, "Forget the pony, look at the mare! Tell me she won't be the best cross country horse ever!"

"forget the pony? forget the mare."

While Andrew and Alex went off on a battle as to which was the better horse, Benny turned to the laptop screen and scrolled through the pictures. Stopping suddenly at one, and turning to the two teenagers.

"Hey Andrew, did you already agree to buy these two?"

"Yea... I want that mare!"

"Did you even bother to read the ad? Look at the pictures? They're being sold as a driving team! There is NO way these horses have a decent training history if THIS is what they're doing! Call and cancel! This isn't a rescue, Andrew! We can't afford to be taking in screw-ups like these two!"

Alex giggled, "congrats Andrew! They're all yours"

"er.. well, at least they can have some proper training.. at a real stable.. ughhhh".

So, I guess I had 'horse idiots' on my mind while drawing this. Figured 'why not?' everyone has unrealistic stories in their stables, so I figured one or two won't hurt Looks like Andrew made a bad deal!
